Who We Are

GINOR DEVI TRUST

This charitable trust is a non profit organisation and was started on 1st Jan 2016 by Mr. Akash Gupta and other board members. We named this trust by the name of our loving grandmother Late Srimati Ginor Devi who lived 103 years of healthy life. She was born in the family of Shri Sualal Ji and Srimati Sugni Devi on 26 August 1911 ( Shravan Teej) in Nasirabad , Ajmer. She got married to Shri Nauratmal Ji, son of Shri Gopikishan Ji of Maujmabad. She lived her life as a lioness. Strong and courageous but extremely empathetic and soft at heart. She always care and look for others.
'She left us on 5th July 2014'.
This trust was created with the thought that we have taken a lot from society and now when we are capable enough, we should return this kindness. For this purpose, we have associated ourselves with Jaipur Foot, the largest organization for disabled, with the clear social vision and commitment to help disabled regain mobility and dignity by fitting high-quality, durable artificial limbs - free of charge. Our goal is to empower the disabled people and help them earn their living with dignity. We @ Ginor devi trust have taken a target to be able to donate one jaipur foot a day to the people in need. Here's Sharing some interesting facts about this revolutionary technology.

We Donate Jaipur foot For 'Disable People' @ Free

So we have associated ourselves with Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahyata Samiti to carry out the work. The Jaipur Foot has helped many people to overcome their leg disability and provide them mobility with dignity.
The Jaipur Foot is superior to its SACH (Solid Ankle Cushion Heel) counterpart in certain ways, mainly in the range of movements it offers. The articulation at the 'ankle' allows not only inversion-eversion movements but also dorsiflexion (essential for squatting, standing up from prone position, etc.) and a shorter keel helps achieve this. Also, the materials used at the foot-end are waterproof and moderately mimic a real foot. Sudha Chandran, an Indian actress and dancer, lost her limb in an accident in 1982. She was fitted with the Jaipur Foot and started dancing once again; her journey is the theme of the Telugu 1984 film Mayuri (Peahen), remade into a 1986 Hindi film, Naache Mayuri (Peahen Dancing). Both the films starred Sudha as the lead
